Pottsgroves 2024 graduation is coming up on May 31st! The ceremony begins at 6:00 and is open to the public so that everyone can see their friends and family graduate. Graduation is held in Pennypacker field where all the seniors will be seated in the center of the field. In case of bad weather, like last year’s graduation, it will be moved indoors to the gymnasium. However, if that is the case, spectators must have a ticket to enter the gymnasium. Students will each be given 5 tickets at their graduation practice. If for any reason you need more you need to find people who are not using all their tickets and discuss it with them. If you happen to be busy that day, graduation will be streamed on The PCTV Network’s YouTube channel, rain or shine. It is Pottsgrove’s 68th graduating class, the first class graduating in 1956. This year’s quote for graduating seniors is from Martin Luther King Jr, “Be the best of whatever you are.” The order of events at graduation is speeches then receiving your diploma and finally throwing your cap! There will be multiple speeches in the order of Senior class president, Salutatorian, valedictorian, principal, school board, and finally the superintendent. Congratulations graduating class of 2024 it’s the end of a chapter and the beginning of more.
