Love and comfort are what Mrs. Reinhart wants her students and volleyball players to feel, much like her 9th-grade teacher, who really made her want to start and continue a career in teaching math to influence young adults. While her favorite part of her job is building relationships with her students, she also loves seeing when a student’s hard work pays off, especially when she gets to hear from students who have graduated and tell her how she and/or her class had a positive impact on them. Along with that, Mrs. Reinhart has worked at Pottsgrove for 21 years now as a math teacher and volleyball coach. She would describe herself as energetic, athletic, and smiley.

Mrs.Reinhart graduated from Pine Grove Area High School in 2001 and furthered her education in Shippensburg for her undergrad in 2005 and at Walden University for her master’s in 2009. These universities were the only schools she applied to; they had a good education program, and some of her friends had been accepted there. She majored in math with a concentration in secondary education to get her teaching degree. She now works at Pottsgrove High School, where her kids also attend school, because she wanted them close by…

In Mrs. Reinhart’s life, she had some difficult challenges when she lost her parents in a 3-month time frame. She overcame those challenges by leaning on her family and friends and trying to stay optimistic. She stated that grief stays with you pretty much forever, but she always tries to remember the good memories she has. She strongly defines success as having her health and happiness and being able to help her children have the same…and she greatly feels that she has achieved success when she looks at her children and the life/family that she created for herself and her loved ones.
