Pottsgrove’s 2024 prom is one to remember! The evening was held at Sunnybrook Ballroom and began with people walking in on their red carpet for the promenade. The PCTV network broadcasted Promenade so families and friends who weren’t at prom could still see the stunning outfits worn to prom. After the promenade, people took their seats at their tables and were greeted with candles and roses. While they were waiting for everyone they opened up the photo booth, which turned out to be a hit, having a long line all night! Then, tables were dismissed a few at a time to get their meals. The meal included chicken tenders, fettuccine, bread and butter, and much more. After people ate they started the music, and while it took a couple of songs for people to get on the dance floor, it was practically filled all night. About halfway through the night, they had the prom court come to the front so they could announce the King and Queen. The court consisted of Nathan Gillin, Katie Ragazinno, Kibriya Carlton, Ryan Smith, Arya and Alina Mapp, Landon Conrad, Kayla Petri, Liam Lapic, and Gabe Rinda. The King and Queen of Pottsgrove Prom 2024 were Kibriya Carlton and Ryan Smith.
Post Prom was held at Bowlero in Limerick and what a blast it was! It started at 11 pm and ended at 1 am with plenty of bowling and activities such as raffles and arcade games. Post-prom also featured pizza, chicken tenders, and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks. They held small mini-games to get more raffle tickets such as, whoever gets two strikes back to back and gets a photo can get a roll of raffle tickets to win gaming consoles, gift cards, and TVs. The event was covered by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services of Drug and Alcohol. All in all, Pottsgrove’s 2024 prom was a fantastic night for all involved and we hope to outlive this experience and get better and better every year!
