Joshua Mathew Stills is an American football player, offensive guard for the Philadelphia Eagles who was just offered a roster spot as a rookie. Before joining the Eagles, he played for West Virginia and Oklahoma colleges. Joshua Stills is a 25-year-old male, number 61 on the Eagles team. On Wednesday, it was revealed that Joshua was indicted by a grand jury in Ohio on charges of rape and kidnapping, stemming from an incident in 2019. When the NFL found out, they put Joshua on the Commissioner’s Exempt List. This means Joshua cannot participate in practices, games, or travel with the team while on this list. Joshua Stills is expected to appear to court on the 16th of February to respond to the charges against him. The 21-year old victim claims Joshua pulled her hair back into her car while her relative walked off, not knowing what was about to occur. In the vehicle, Joshua allegedly forced himself onto her while she yelled out for him to stop, and he replied with “she was doing this and was not leaving until she did this.” The numerous charges now could lead to up to eight years in prison.
