The New York Giants have had their best season in over a decade. Despite not having the best weapons at the Wide Receiver position, Daniel Jones threw over 3,000 yards and had the fewest interceptions out of any starting Quarterback. Darius Slayton, the Giants number one receiver, had over 700 yards receiving and played a key role in the Giants first winning season since 2016. Saquon Barkley had his best season since his rookie year, which was in 2018. He ran for over 1,300 yards with 10 touchdowns, and was nominated for the award Comeback Player of the Year. Despite their ugly loss to the Eagles in the Divisional round, the Giants seem to have a bright future with about 50 million dollars in cap space.

After only one season in New York, head coach, Brian Daboll has turned the Giants into serious playoff contenders. With a few more great players signed, the Giants could be a top team in the NFC, or even NFL. After the playoff loss, Saqon Barkley stated that there is nowhere he’d rather play than New York. Fortunately for Giants fans, rumors have spread that the Giants would like to sign Bengals receiver Tee Higgins, or 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Either one of these receivers would be a great addition to their already strong roster. On the defensive side of the ball, the Giants have one of the best defensive lines in the league. With Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams in the inside, and Kayvon Thibodeaux on the edge, the Giants forced a total of 49 sacks equating to 274 total offensive yards lost against the Giants. Overall, the Giants have a bright future ahead of them and they will be a team to watch out for in coming seasons.
