On Wednesday September 14th, the girls volleyball team took a win against Upper Perk. The Varsity game started at 4:30 and the girls took it to five sets. The girls had lost the first set to Upper Perk 23-25 and fought for the second. The Pottsgrove girls took the second set from Upper Perk with a 25-16 win. The Pottsgrove girls also won the third set 25-23. Some leaders on the court were Cheslea Wasdick, senior libero, Lizzie Mcallister, junior setter, Madi Aripino, junior, middle hitter, and Avery Gleason, junior, middle/outside. The girls were very vocal and cheered one another on. They played very hard and uplifted one another on the court. A mention goes out to Avery Gleason for some of her amazing serves and hits. Taking the last set to fifteen and getting a pass from Chelsea Wasdick and a set from Lizzie Mcallister, Avery Gleason had an amazing hit to zone five to cause the libero of Upper Perk to shank the ball and a win for the Pottsgrove Volleyball team. The girls are very excited for their first win of the PAC games for them.
