After months of anticipation, fans can finally relive BTS’ Los Angeles shows from their own homes. On September 8, Disney Plus released BTS Permission to Dance on Stage L.A, a concert film, showing their performances and unreleased behind the scenes footage. The band was unable to perform in the United States for over two years due to the pandemic and they returned for their sold out performances in a variety of cities. The documentary showcased their sold out shows at SoFi Stadium on November 27-28 and December 1-2.

Many fans were curious as to what songs would be performed, since it had been years since their last in-person concert, but the setlist of the concert changed each night. All four nights included performances of their hit English songs, “Dynamite”, “Butter”, and of course “Permission to Dance.” The Los Angeles shows also had guest appearances from Meghan Thee Stallion and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, surprising all of the fans.

This is a bittersweet moment for fans after the South Korean group announced in June, on their ninth anniversary, that they were going to focus on some of their individual projects and take time to themselves. It was assumed after this announcement that Permission to Dance on Stage would be their last concerts together for a while, making this concert film more special to fans.
