On Monday, May 8 the Pottsgrove softball team had their senior night. This was their 19th game of the season. The game was against Phoenixville, who was no match for Pottsgrove’s team. Our softball team won the game with a score of 8-4. During the game, a few personal records were scored for the team. For Avery Gleason, she scored her 7th home run of the season. Also, Mikayla Eckman got her 400th strikeout during the game. 

The theme of the senior night was rock and roll. The night highlighted three seniors on the team: Emily Dougherty, Caitlin Lopresti, and Bella Nagy. These girls have had a strong season so far, with an overall score of 9 -10. With the season over, it will be interesting to see whether the team will make districts.
