Pottsgrove’s boys lacrosse team has many seniors this 2023 season. There are nine seniors total and they are Dylan Batche, Koleson Gale, Dom Sithens, Shane McGlinchy, Cooper Simon, Adam Hofstadter, Jack Silvestri, Ethan Kelly, and AJ Lattanze. Only one senior is committed, and that is Dylan Batche. He is committed to Washington & Jefferson College. This college is a Division III school and is located in Washington, Pennsylvania. Although only one of the players is moving on to play collegiate lacrosse, all of the seniors have a variety of talent that they can spread over the field.

All of the seniors play different positions on the field, which allows for them to have a good amount of them on attack, in the midfield, and on defense. Dylan Batche plays attack, Jack Silvestri plays attack, Shane McGlinchy plays middie, Adam Hofstadter plays middie,

AJ Lattanze plays middie, Cooper Simon plays long stick midfield, Koleson Gale plays defense, Ethan Kelly plays defense, and Dom Sithens plays goalie. When asked how he thinks the rest of the season is going to go, Coach Stan Rotay said, “We have a really good chance at winning 6 games this year. Which would double our total from last year. We have let some games slip away, but they are all opportunities to get better and grow as a team.” Coach Rotay also commented on the season so far, “We started the season on a high note with 2 quick wins but we have struggled to close games out. From a talent and team cohesion perspective we are more consistent than last year. We have some really talented kids that are going to make the program that much better in future seasons.” Coach Rotay expressed his confidence in the development of the team, so if you’re interested in their progress, follow along this year and the years to come!
