Harry Styles and Florence Pugh star in the recent movie, Don’t Worry Darling, a thriller and horror. In the 1950’s, Jack (Styles) and Alice (Pugh) live in their small company town, Victory, where all the men go off to work in a confidential project. While the husbands are at work, the women enjoy their riches and live in paradise. But soon, Alice starts to uncover a conspiracy that all the men want to bury. It seems as though the movie is grabbing attention because of its famous actors. For those who don’t know, Harry Styles is known for being in the internationally famous boy band, One Direction, and is still very successful to this day as a musician after the group broke up. Florence Pugh is known for her movies, Little Women (2019), Black Widow (2021), and Fighting with My Family (2019) where she portrays each character to perfection. According to KCP (Kiowa County Press), the film’s poor reputation precedes it. Unfortunately, what’s on screen is a movie that had no business making as much money as it did this past weekend.
