On April 1st, 2022, Morbius, a new Marvel movie, was released. Originally supposed to be released January 28th, comes an interesting movie following Suicide Squad’s joker, played by Jared Leto’s as Dr. Michael Morbius. Michael grew up with a rare blood disease. As a kid, he met his lifelong friend, Loxias, who is played by Matt Smith. He played in well known movies and television shows such as The Crown, House of The Dragon, and the original Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire! They both had the same rare disease and Michael had promised him that he would find a cure to their disease and cure them both. After years of suffering the disease they are both slowly dying, Michael realizes that there might be a cure for their diseases in the blood of bats. After injecting himself with bat’s blood, he turned himself into some kind of vampire. From there, it’s an action filled adventure intertwined with a brilliant story. 

Along Jared’s side is his girlfriend in the movie Martine, who is played by Adria Arjona. She definitely is a very important character in Michael’s life as well as the one person who can make him vulnerable. She was known for movies such as 6 Underground, Emerald City, and The Belko Experiment. According to cnbs.com, Morbius was ‘lazy’, ‘not good’ and ‘totally skippable ‘.’ Morbius was attracted by very poor reviews. People out there also think of it as a ‘Spider-Man spinoff.’
