So many video games come out yearly. However, not every video game is promoted / hyped up, as much as others are. Elden Ring is an excellent example. From the Japanese developers of the game franchise Dark Souls, FromSoftware Inc, they created Elden Ring and this game was nominated and won the game award for most anticipated game! 

The action role-playing game was published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and released on February 25, 2022. The composers of this masterpiece of a video game were Yuka Kitamura, Yoshimi Kudō, Tsukasa Saitoh, Tai Tomisawa, and Shoi Miyazawa. This open world adventure game was written by fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki. 

According to pcgamer.com, Elden Ring has sold 12 million copies in just 3 weeks. According to the official website, en.bandainamcoent.eu, “Elden Ring features vast fantastical landscapes and shadowy, complex dungeons that are connected seamlessly.” They also described the following, “Traverse the breathtaking world on foot or on horseback, alone, or online with other players, and fully immerse yourself in the grassy plains, suffocating swamps, spiraling mountains, foreboding castles and other sites of grandeur on a scale never seen before in a FromSoftware title.” According to nytimes.com, “Since the game launched last week, most of them agree that it’s beautiful, detailed, and absorbing, but intimidating for newcomers. 

Elden Ring was released on February 25 of this year and you can play it on Playstation 4 and 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox series X as well as series S, and Xbox One.
