Electrical Cars in Lower Pottsgrove Township

Ashley Castillo

When thinking about our environment by reducing fuel costs and having less gas emissions; Bruce Foltz, president of Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners has begun to think about Pottsgrove’s future regarding electrical cars. Foltz even asked the board if they were open to regulating  the requirements and use of electrical vehicle charging stations.

More and more electrical cars are being made each day. Each station costs about $3,500 and $4,500, commercial facilities are willing to provide these. According to The Sanatoga Post, The Philadelphia Premium Outlets has a few stations located on the South Side of the parking lot. Many believe that electric cars should be more used to help the environment. Elon Musk once said “In order to have clean air in cities, you have to go electric.” Others either don’t agree or don’t have an opinion on electric cars. Electrical cars help with lowering emission fuels such as diesel, propane, and hydrogen. These cars could also help lower the amount of gas emissions going to the atmosphere, especially helping with climate change. Many believe that instead of using more gas emissions, many should start using reusable energy sources.
