This week’s teacher of the week is Susan Cash, a 9th-grade honors and 12th grade AP English teacher a-. Mrs. Cash is a teacher at Pottsgrove High School who is going on her 12th year of teaching. Mrs. Cash first got a degree in German at Mount Saint Mary’s University, which is a Catholic school. At Mount Saint Mary’s University, she graduated in 2000. In 2018, she got her master’s degree in English at Villanova. She also received a teacher’s certificate K-12 in German and English from Usinius University. She also is very glad that she did not choose to study education.

Mrs. Cash is a very hands-on teacher who loves to teach and see everyone’s view. She says that she very much enjoys being a teacher and sees it as a very good choice that she made. She states, “I enjoy teaching because every year my students breathe new life into the content I teach. They see new things in stories that I’ve taught dozens of times and it’s exciting. Good literature is timeless and it will speak to every generation, and I get to experience it when I teach”. Mrs. Cash has an amazing insight into a lot of things and is a great conversationalist. If you ever need to sit down and have a talk with someone, Mrs. Cash should be your first choice! We hope to see Mrs. Cash progress and be the teacher of the week again in the future.
