The Falcon Staff would like to highlight and congratulate the Class of 2025! The following responses were collected as part of an optional senior spotlight survey.
Dante Bibbs Jr.
Favorite teacher?: “Mrs Kelly, because she took me under her wing and helped me with all my math work, even when I had different teachers.”
Extra Curricular activity: Football
Plans after graduation?: “I’m going to the University of New Haven to major in sports management and minor in criminal justice.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Just go to class, do ya work, and stay outof the way, and you will be chilling”

Cole Strunk

Kamal Curry
Favorite teacher?: “Ms. Hansen, because she is literally the goat (LeHansen James)”

Advice for the incoming freshmen?: “Don’t be dumb your first year cause that GPA don’t play”
Final comments/thoughts?: “In the clurb we are all family (the clurb is Abi, Ava, Ahnika, Taydem, Robyn , Don Wezzy , and BP)”
Julia Petrikis
Favorite teacher?: “Mr. Mellor – American history. Mr. Mellor was always able to make me laugh on bad days and class was very chill. I loved the memes he posted every day.”
Plans after graduation?: “I will be going to Montco, possibly for two years, and then transfer to another college. I will be working a lot at Panera over the summer and possibly get a new job.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Get yourself involved. Nothing’s fun if you don’t engage. At football games and basketball games, yell and chant for our school and make good memories.”Final comments/thoughts?:”I’ve met many of my best friends here that I know I will keep for the rest of my life. I’ve made so many great memories during my 12 years at Pottsgrove, and I’m grateful for all the fun and hard times I’ve had because they’ve made me who I am today.”
Robyn Rizzitiello
Favorite teacher?: “Mr. Rusiewicz, because he always made me and my friends feel welcome, and he was always the nicest! He is patient with the way we work and always understands! ”
Extracurricular activities?: “Yes, I played softball as a sophomore, and I did cheerleading as a junior and became a senior captain! “
Plans after graduation?:”I will be going to Shippensburg University to study media and communications.”
Advice for incoming freshman?:”DO NOT procrastinate on your senior paper!”
Final comments/thoughts?: “Have fun, four years go by faster than you know it. “
Ben McComb
Favorite teacher?: “Mr Shantz, because he is a very nice person “

Kelsey Weidner
Favorite teacher?:”Mr. Desiderio- I’m able to go to him for whatever I need.”
Plans after graduation?: “Going for my Cosmetology license on May 6th and then going right into working!.. “
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Enjoy your time here at the high school. It will go very fast!”
Final thoughts/comments?: “My high school career was amazing. I just want to thank all of my teachers and the friends I made. Thank you! This is Kelsey signing out!!!”
Angel Carter
Favorite teacher?: “Mrs. McKown. I had Mrs. McKown originally in 7th grade and had the opportunity to have her again my junior year. Mrs. McKown was one of my go to people whether it was for advice or school work. She helped me get through my junior year and always kept a smile on my face.”
Extracurricular activities?: “My freshman year I was the boys basketball manager and junior year I was on the basketball team but suffered an injury with a torn quad.”
Plans after graduation?: “In my first two years, I’ll be going to a community college for social work and will then transfer to a university.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Not everything you see is what you think, and not everything you hear is the truth.”
Final thoughts/comments?: “High school goes by fast. You’ll make friends and lose friends you’d never think you’d lose. Put your mental health first & enjoy high school.”
James (JT) Muller
Favorite teacher?: “Mr. John Shantz’s Sociology and Economics class because he made lessons relatable and incorporated humor, which gave me an incredible classroom experience.”
Extracurricular activities?: “Bowling”
Plans after graduation?: “College, then saving up for a sailboat and then I will be sailing off in the distance to accomplish my dream of traveling the whole world, visiting country after country, and trying all the different cuisines and cultures.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Live life to the fullest. Don’t ever let anyone hold you down from your dream.”
Final comments or thoughts?: “Pottsgrove has a special place in my list of memories.”
Steven London
Favorite teacher?: “Mr. Shein, who taught my 11th-grade chemistry class. Because he was so outgoing and unique, he inspired me to be more of my genuine self without caring about what other people think. FOR REAL.”
Extracurricular activities?: “TSA CLUB and school in general felt like an Extracurricular activity ngl”
Plans after graduation?: “I’LL BE GOING TO MONTCO FOR 2 YEARS THEN TRANSFERING (and pursuing gymnastics, bodybuilding, and spiritual growth) I’M GOING TO BE DOING SO MUCH, I KNOW BECAUSE GOD HAS SO MUCH PLANNED FOR ME “
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Don’t be complacent, do everything without the thought of “i’ll be different so I’m scared to do it” DO IT SCARED THEN, Fear God, Respect those who are here for you, and show up for yourself, Seek His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well friend! “
Final thoughts/comments?: “Love is not a feeling, it’s an action, do not follow your heart, I promise you that your heart is deceitful above all things, who can understand it’? So be willing to grow, embarrass yourself, AND TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED TO YOU (that isn’t against your morals).”
Avelyn Engleman
Favorite teacher?: “My favorite teacher is Mr. Einhorn, I’ve had him all 4 years for Orchestra, and he’s great. He knows when to challenge and push us, but also when to be gentle when it comes to making music.”
Extracurricular activities?: “Orchestra, even if it is technically a class”
Plans after graduation?: “I will probably be doing college and working part-time.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “It’s not the end of the world if you can’t do something. There is always another way.”

Favorite teacher or class?: “My favorite class was lunch. The food was always delectable and well-made. My tummy rumbled every day, waiting for delicious pizza every day.”
Extracurricular activities?: “I participated in Tennis for 4 years, Track and field for 4 years, and the musical during my senior year.”
Plans after graduation?: “I’ll be going to Temple and majoring in the easiest major, communications. And hopefully that’s where I’ll start a comedy career.”
Advice for incoming freshmen?: “Have fun, be yourself.”
