The Met Gala occurred on May, 6th, 2024 at 5:30 pm. The Met Gala is always held every year on the first Monday in May. Its location stays the same every year with the event being held at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York City. The theme this year is based on “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” but the actual theme this year was The Garden Of Time.
Some of the many celebrities that came to this event included Lana Del Ray, Jack Harlow, Tyla, Elle Fanning, Sydney Sweeney, Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan, Zendaya, Ayo Edebiri, Emma Chamberlain, Nicholas Galitzine, and more. Not only did single celebrities show up to this night, but couples did too including Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, Dove Cameron and Damiano David, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini, Nnamdi Asomugha and Kerry Washington, and many others.
Many things about that night were outstanding, but the looks the celebrities brought to the red carpet were especially flattering, and then you get some not-so-flattering outfits. Some of the outstanding outfits at the Met Gala included Zendaya in Maison Margiela by John Galliano, Emma Chamberlain in Jean Paul Gaultier, Ayo Edebiri in Loewe, and Lana Del Ray in Alexander McQueen.
Either way, the Met Gala 2024 was a successful night with many various looks and designs the celebrities showed up in. Everyone is thrilled about the night’s end and is looking forward to next year’s Met Gala event.
