Highlighted in this article is the 2024 senior, Marcus Major. Marcus has attended the Pottsgrove School District since sixth grade and plans to attend community college for two years before transferring to a four-year university after high school. He plans to study Psychology and become a therapist. After talking with Marcus, he rated his high school experience an 8/10 as it provided him with “plenty of opportunities” for his dream job, but was still “interesting at times”. His favorite class of all time is Economics and Sociology because “Mr. Shantz is funny”. His favorite teacher, however, is Mr. Sheehan because “he is funnier”. Above all else, Marcus’s best friend in high school is Nora Seltzer. Marcus is described as a kind and funny person, “Funniest guy I know” (Anonymous). For lunch, Marcus always enjoys his ham deli sandwich with fruit and white milk.
