On Friday, April 12, 2024, the Aevidum Club hosted an all-day event in the auditorium at Pottsgrove High School. Aevidum’s mission is for students to join to raise awareness of other students’ mental health worldwide. The event began with a boisterous welcome to the visiting schools and students. The Pottsgrove band and cheerleaders were outside to welcome some of the schools that came, including Boyertown, Springford, Upper Merion, Upper Perkiomen, and more. Before any of the events started, the schools did a creative introduction of their school. The leader introduced the club’s main ideas and goals with a video. The student leaders from Pottsgrove include Isabella Kerlin, Brian Castro, Lauren Panco, Rawan Moussa, Corrine Hudock, Fenix McCulley, Megan Neeson, Gavin Kerlin, Ashley Castillo, Jordan Raudenbush, Emily Wallace-Sutton, and Shauna Kerlin. The club leaders of the club then read a prompt to the crowd. After they got through the videos and talking points, they proceeded to announce a challenge where they needed a representative from each school to see who could make the best Lego creation. At noon, they had lunch for all of the club members from each school. This event was a hit for Pottsgrove High School and they intend to do it again in the future.
