March 28th will be the opening day for Philadelphia Phillies baseball as they have had an amazing spring training so far however Bryce Harper is dealing with a bit of an injury scare. Bryce Harper is facing a back injury and could miss the opening day. Aside from this injury scare, the Phillies also picked up Whit Merrifield during the offseason, who was a three-time all-star and plans to be a great fit into the roster. The first game will be against the Atlanta Braves who will be a top competitor to the Phillies for the division title. The Phillies’ extension over the offseason was Zack Wheeler for a record-breaking 3-year deal for $126 million. Wheeler is one of the best pitchers on this year’s pitching rotation along with Aaron Nola and Ranger Suarez. The Philadelphia Phillies will also be getting their Nike City Connects this year much like the rest of major league teams lately. A City Connect is Nike’s vision of what describes a city best, for example, the Houston Astros have a rocket on theirs because they are known for NASA space shuttles launching in Houston.
