PA Wildfires
More stories from James Muller
Pennsylvania is warming up but without any rain, wildfire season has come sooner than expected. This week the national weather service has issued a red flag warning. A red flag warning means that the weather and conditions are increasing the chances of wildfires in the area. All of Pennsylvania’s southeastern counties have been put into a very high risk category, unlike most of the other counties who’ve been put into high risk. Once a rainstorm arrives, the red flag warning will go away. According to the DCNR, debris burning is the highest cause of wildfires in the state. Another big issue with the weather in Pennsylvania is that we’re seeing record breaking temperatures that around this time of year should still be in the 50’s-60’s. However it is fluctuating back and forth with one day being as high as 84 degrees to the next day being 53 degrees. As usual however the weather is always beautiful in Pennsylvania.
