Argentina’s Win in The World Cup

After 7 matches, 4 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties, Argentina won the World Cup. The final match was between Argentina and France, and it ended with a suspenseful shootout after the game ended with a score of 3-3. Up until that point, Argentina had won 4 games, lost 1, and won 1 other game which ended in a shootout. Meanwhile, France had 5 wins and 1 loss as well. The final game between Argentina and France consisted of 3 goals scored by Argentina, with one being a penalty kick, and 3 goals by France, with 2 being penalty kicks. In the last 20 seconds, a French player, Randal Kolo Muani, took a shot on goal. If they scored, it would have decided the game. Fortunately for Argentina, the goalkeeper, Daniel Martinez, saved it. With a tied game, the teams went into a shootout, where Argentina saved goals from Tchouámeni and Coman. With two goals scored by France and four by Argentina, the winner was decided. For the third time ever, Argentina won a world cup, with the last one being in 1986!
