Pottsgrove Football: End of Season Recap and Interview

Pottsgrove’s 2021 Football team did very well this year. Making it to the District Final with a passion and fight in their hearts, but, unfortunately, stopping there. The Pottsgrove Football team had a very successful season, with eight wins and three losses.
In an interview with Pottsgrove Falcons varsity football coach, Mr. Hawthorne, he expressed great pride in the teams season winnings, work ethic, and family-like bond. He was also very grateful to have a season this year, with Covid-19 still impacting state laws and mask mandates, this season could have been very different. Being a Pottsgrove Falcon is a great privilege, and I believe we are all extremely happy Covid-19 didn’t have to restrict that.
From Mr. Hawthorne’s words himself, to any advice for upcoming players is, to follow the lead of the senior class and too put your best effort every time you step on the field. For the next season Mr. Hawthrone expressed that he is very excited to see kids come back and the hard work that will be put in. In conclusion Mr. Hawthorne would love to see Pottsgrove Football back at the top of the division next season.
