The Stars and Stripes, also known as the USA Women’s Soccer Team has been very successful with their winning streak so far this season. They are ranked second best team, with their last game against Paraguay they won 8-0. Scoring those goals are Lavelle with one, Smith with one, Morgan with three, Marcarrio with two, and Lloyd with one. According to Wikipedia, women’s soccer has had 16 appearances in FIFA, the first one being in 1991. The best FIFA women’s player in 2019 was Megan Rapinoe with 34 goals and 75 matches.
In the Olympic games, they have had six appearances, and eight World Cup appearances. The team’s best results for a championship were in 1991, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2013, 2017, and 2021. Their team captains are Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan, and Megan Rapinoe, and the women’s top scorer right now is Abby Wambach with 184 goals and 255 international matches.
