Color Day

Every year, Pottsgrove High School hosts a Color Day for all the students in school. Color Day is scheduled to take place on May 10, 2021. The day has fun events for all, where students compete against each other by grade level. This year the situation is a little different, because some students are in school, and some are doing virtual school. Students that participate in virtual school had to sign up online to participate in Color Day. Although these changes may be difficult to Color Day, it will still be a very fun day for students and teachers alike.

The day starts off with a morning ceremony, where seniors prepare speeches that go with one main theme. After the speeches, the games begin. The students of each grade level prepare shirts and banners to compete against each other. Some events that take place are flag football, push ups, sit ups, volleyball, handball, tug of war, dodgeball, and many others. ā€œIā€™m really looking forward to color day because it’s a way to get everyone back together,ā€ says Nicole Lockey. Color Day is an event that students love and enjoy every year, and after a weird year, this will be a very fun event.
